Jillian’s passion for nutrition stems from experiencing its healing power first hand:
after years of debilitating symptoms and illness, she regained her health after changing what she was eating. As a Registered Dietitian, with a Master’s degree in Nutrition from New York University, she’s schooled in evidence-based medicine and possesses a strong understanding of nutritional science. Jillian is a Level 2 Reiki practitioner, an nine-year student of Ayurveda, Master Iridologist, and a Western-trained herbalist, all of which she incorporates into her treatment approach. It is her passion for merging integrative and holistic disciplines with nutritional science that informs her practice as a dietitian.
In addition to a private practice in New York City, Jillian served as Head of Nutrition and Wellness for Care/of, where she worked on product development, community, oversaw nutrition and wellness-related content, and the development of additional, integrated health services. Previously, she served as Director of Nutrition for Aloha, a venture-backed wellness brand, where she created a best-selling detox program and streamlined the company’s nutrition communication.
Jillian is a subject-matter expert on medical cannabis and is passionate about educating physicians about its efficacy, effectiveness and its application in clinical practice. In addition, she writes a cannabis column for Miss Grass.
She has been quoted in various publications, including Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, StyleCaster, Women’s Health and Well+Good.
Jillian holds a Bachelors Degree in English from Columbia University and Masters of Science in Nutrition from New York University. In her free time, Jillian enjoys traveling, photography, surfing, cooking and playing tennis.
